Yoga Day 2023

On June 21st, 2023, GN GROUP OF INSTITUTES, GNIT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida Celebrated International Yoga Day through a Yoga session by Yoga expert Ms. Mamta kathait, Assistant Professor, GNIT college of Pharmacy, Greater Noida.

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India and aims to control and still the mind, recognizing a detached witness-consciousness untouched by the mind (Chitta) and mundane suffering (Duḥkha).

All students of B.Pharmacy with faculty members attended this enriching session.

The session was started by a motivational speech given by Director Dr. Mukul Singh .Followed by this Yoga expert started the session by introducing the role and importance of yoga in today's life. Following which she started with the stretching poses leading to sitting poses, stomach exercises, some backflat postures, anulom-vilom, Kapal bhati. In the end of the session Surya namaskar was performed by all. The session was extremely refreshing and rejuvenating.
