GN Group of Institutes, GNIT College of Pharmacy, organized an enriching local educational visit to CPHI and PMEC Pharma Exhibition for B.Pharm and D.Pharm students, accompanied by faculty members on 28th November 2024. The event hosted at the India Expo Center, Greater Noida attracted exhibitors and participants from across the globe, showcasing innovations in pharmaceutical ingredients, machinery, packaging solutions, and more. It provided an excellent opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, engage with industry experts, and understand market trends.
This initiative aimed to provide students with a practical perspective on the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries while fostering opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.
The primary objective of this visit was to expose students to the real-world applications of their academic knowledge. By interacting with industry professionals and observing live demonstrations, the students gained insights into the operational aspects of pharmaceutical production, quality assurance, and equipment design. Demonstrations of equipment and processes gave students a hands-on understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, and process optimization. Students developed an understanding of the quality and standards required for success in the global pharmaceutical market.
The visit proved to be a significant learning experience for the participants. It inspired students to think critically about their roles as future pharmacists and industry professionals.
The visit reinforced GNITCP commitment to delivering holistic education through experiential learning. It was a day of inspiration, knowledge-sharing, and growth for all participants.

This excursion aimed to provide them with a better understanding of the community and its infrastructure. The locations visited included:
Police Station, Bank, Exploring the nearby market allowed participants to observe local businesses. The visit to nearby malls provided an insight into the retail sector and the variety of products and services available.
The Induction Program's inaugural day was a resounding success, thanks to the all students invaluable contribution in the engaging local area visit. The event provided students with valuable insights offered a practical glimpse of the community they will be a part of during their academic journey.

CPhI & P-MEC India expo, South Asia’s biggest Pharma event. The event runs 29th November to 1st December 2022 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi – NCR and has drawn 534 exhibitors from 16 countries. Over 20,000 visitors are expected over the three days.
The CPHI and P-MEC exhibition gave glimpses of Indian pharmaceutical breakthroughs, insights, and future trends. The event was an interactive platform for networking and idea exchanges giving students the knowledge of the advancements and improvements occurring in the Indian pharmaceutical business. Faculty and students obtained an understanding of pharmaceutical industry needs for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) such as alkaloids, amino acids, antibiotics, enzymes, and peptides. Products include preservatives, antioxidants, coating materials, sweetening agents, and colourants. Discover cutting-edge advances in the synthesis, extraction, and purification of fine compounds.
It was an elluminating experience for all faculty and students. They gained knowledge of various advancements and improvements in pharmaceutical feild along with joyful activities from the exhibition.
