GN GROUP OF INSTITUTES, GNIT College of Pharmacy continues the Induction Program on 10th Oct 2023 with an engaging and insightful session led by Dr. Ravina Duhan, a distinguished professional in the healthcare sector.

Dr. Ravina Duhan, founder and director of Talent Bridge HRS and director of Amio, graced our induction program with her expertise. With over 16 years of experience in the healthcare sector, she shared valuable insights into preparing for a career in healthcare. Dr. Duhan's background as a dentist added depth to her presentation. Her presentation left a lasting impression on the participants, equipping them with knowledge and inspiration for their future careers.

On 6th October 2023 Induction Programme 2023-24, continued at GN group of Institutes, GNIT College of Pharmacy. Day 4 of the Induction Programme was marked by two insightful sessions delivered by two eminent speakers. The sessions aimed to enrich the knowledge and skills of the participants.

The event began with a session on Communication Skills by Ms. Bachendri Pathak, a senior trainer at Inlingua, took the stage to discuss the significance of communication skills in the professional world. Her session emphasized how effective communication can enhance one's personal and professional life. Ms. Pathak stressed the importance of clear and concise communication in conveying ideas and information effectively. She highlighted the role of non-verbal cues, such as body language and gestures, in conveying messages accurately. Participants were encouraged to practice active listening, a crucial skill in effective communication. Ms. Pathak shared techniques to boost confidence in communication, including public speaking tips. The session addressed common communication barriers and how to overcome them.

In the next part of event another session on Importance of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Regulatory Affairs by Mr. Kunwar Srivastava.

The second session was led by Mr. Kunwar Srivastava, an HR professional at the ACPL group of companies, who delved into the world of Pharmacovigilance and drug regulatory affairs in the field of Pharmacy. Mr. Srivastava provided an overview of what Pharmacovigilance is and why it's crucial in the pharmaceutical industry. He discussed the role of regulatory affairs in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations governing the pharmaceutical sector. Participants learned about the importance of monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions to ensure public safety. Mr. Srivastava highlighted the career opportunities and growth prospects in the field of Pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs.

Overall, both sessions were highly informative and provided valuable insights to the participants. The induction programme continues to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for their roles in the pharmaceutical industry.

On 5th October 2023 Induction program 2023-24, continued with newly admitted students at GN Group of institutes, GNIT College of Pharmacy was an outstanding accomplishment.

Day 3 of the programme included a session on Universal Human Value delivered by Mr. Gaurav saxena, Assistant professor. It was an hour-long session in which was motivational to all in many ways. He explained about the basic human ethics and values one should maintain althrough their lives to achieve their goals and be successful in life.

The next part of the programme was followed up with a session on basic skill enhancement and future scope of pharmacists in the field of Medical coding, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing and management. Thes session was delivered by our guests Mr Surojit Ghoshal, Director, Institutedi Graduati pvt. Ltd. And *Mr. Devojit Dutta*Director, Institutedi Graduati pvt. Ltd.

Topic :"Dealing with stress and anxiety - A Clinical Perspective"

On 4th October 2023 Induction program continue with newly admitted students at GN Group of institutes, GNIT College of Pharmacy was an outstanding accomplishment. Dr. Namrata Singh, Manager of Corporate Relations at Kailash Hospital, was the highlighted expert for the day. Dealing with stress and anxiety - A clinical perspective was the topic of Dr. Namrata's engaging and enlightening speech. It was an hour-long session in which she explained the significance of goal setting and how to achieve one's life goals. To achieve one's objective, one must make a transparent, continuous, and conscious effort that is both plain and transparent. Dr. Singh stated that an honest objective, a distinct path, perseverance, hard work, discipline, and dedication to one's work will ensure success. Also, when one cannot achieve the intended success, tension and anxiety are natural results that must be addressed immediately.

Dr. Mukul Singh Director GNIT College of Pharmacy described the achievements of the GNIT College of Pharmacy. She emphasized the accomplishments of students, faculty, and the institution. HOD Mr. Anil Sahdev elucidated the induction program designed to familiarize students with the faculty, GNIT Campus, its facilities, and its regulations. Academic induction will focus on subject-specific study skills, including introducing subject methodologies, methods of learning and teaching in the subject, the roles of formative and summative assessment, and using assessment feedback to improve academic performance.

Students had an engrossing session, with a vibrant interactive discussion on the challenges ahead and methods to surmount them. In addition, there was another event for the incoming class to express their hopes and expectations for the institution and their future prospects.

Topic :"Scope and Objectives of Clinical Research and Pharma Competitive Exam Preparation"

On April 20th, 2023, GN Group of Institutes, GNIT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida organized a Guest lecture on Scope and objectives of Clinical research and Pharma competitive exam preparation, delivered by an eminent speaker, Mr. Piyush Gunawad. All students of B.Pharmacy and D.Pharmacy with faculty members attended this enriching session. He explained the importance of clinical research in Pharmacy and other skill developing courses that can be included for Pharmacy students. Several solutions for Pharma competitive exams have been discussed.

A Seminar on

"3D Printing Technology: A gateway to personalised and customised drug delivery system".

On November 21st, 2022, GNIT college of Pharmacy, GN Group of Institutes Greater Noida organized a seminar & workshop on 3-D Printing, titled as 3D Printing Technology: A Gateway to personalised and customised drug delivery system, delivered by an eminent speaker, Mr. Avikshit Saras, ATL Mentor, New Delhi. 3D printing is an advanced technology: A Gateway to personalised and customised drug delivery. All students of B.Pharmacy 2nd, 3rd and 4th year with faculty members attended this enriching session.

The guest was felicitated with a Tulsi sampling and a memorandum by the Director, Dr. Anju Guniya, GNIT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida and HOD, Mr. Anil Kumar Sahdev, GNIT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. Following which an enlightening workshop was delivered by Mr. Avikshit Saras. He explained the importance of 3-D printing in medical field and Pharmacy with role of customised medical treatment, complexibility reader, resource efficiency in pharmacy, CAD filing and many more. Seminar on career guidance, GPAT exam preparation and development of soft skills :

GNIT College of Pharmacy, GN Group of Institutions, hosted a seminar on career guidance, GPAT exam preparation, and soft skill development on its campus to instil the correct value system and proper understanding of the professional course, its outcome, foreseeable challenges, and opportunities available. The occasion was marked by the presence of the Director, HOD, faculty members, invited visitors, and dignitaries.

Dr. Anju Guaniya highlighted the various factors of success and discipline in her address to the scholar and educated them on the required behaviour of pharmacy students.

Mr. Utsav Verma, Assistant Professor, GPAT Discussion Center, was our distinguished speaker and technical session honoree. He focused on the profession of pharmacy. A pharmacist is vital in assisting individuals in maintaining their health.

As a pharmacist, we must communicate with people under duress. Mr. Verma outlined the benefits of passing the GPAT, like being eligible for admission to top-tier universities for M.Pharm studies, entrance exam, monthly stipend, and being able to participate in any research project as a JRF Project Fellow. You also become eligible for PhD programmes, as many prestigious institutes have made GPAT/NET eligibility criteria. There was lively and exciting query placed by students curious about future prospects as a pharmacist.

The session was concluded with a vote of thanks by HOD Mr. Anil Sahdev.

A Webinar on "Future prospects and management of Healthcare Industry in India" was conducted by GNIT College of Pharmacy, GN group of Institutions, Greater Noida, on 22nd January 2022, in association with IIHMR, Delhi.

Dr. Anandi Ramachandran, Associate Professor, IIHMR, Delhi, delivered a session on Future prospects for students in management in Healthcare industries.

Another Session was delivered by Dr. Divya Aggarwal, Dean Associate, IIHMR, on the various management skills required to be developed by the students that will be helping them to encorporate in Healthcare sectors and the several sectors that provides such opportunities.

More than 100 delegates joined the webinar, including all faculties, which was conducted on Zoom App.

Webinar was full of knowledge and interesting things. It gave deep insights about the Future Prospects and Management of Healthcare Industry in India. Today's session will definitely help the students in better studies and future prospects.

A webinar on “Importance of Profession Ready Training in Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance” was organized successfully by GNIT College of Pharmacy, GN Group of Institutes, Greater Noida, on 4th December, 2021, in collaboration with CLINI INDIA.

Mr. Vishal Chaudhari, Head of operation, CLINI INDIA delivered his talk on importance of profession ready training and placement program in clinical research and pharmacovigilance.

Mr. Anil Sahdev, HOD, GNIT College of Pharmacy, GN Group of Institutes, Greater Noida, highlighted the importance of upcoming fields like clinical research and pharmacovigilance related to Pharmacy profession and that it would provide the ample career opportunity to all pharmacy students in the competitive job market in current times.

More than 100 delegates joined the webinar online, including the faculties and students in and outside of the campus. Ms. Sonam Kundral (Asst. prof) was the coordinators of the event who thanked all, for successful completion of the webinar. The students found the webinar very informative and interesting. Webinar was full of knowledge and interesting things. It gave deep insights about clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, medical writing and also revealed some interesting facts.
