GN Group of institutes, GNIT College of Pharmacy had organized an industrial tour to Shimla-Baddi, Himachal Pradesh from 17th to 21st March 2023 at ADDII Pharmaceuticals pvt. Ltd. , Baddi, Himachal Pradesh for the students of B. Pharmacy 3rd year and 4th year.
The journey started from the college campus at 10:30 pm. towords the Chandigarh. We reached at industry at 1Pm on 18th march, where HR personnel welcomed us. Staff had presented the products manufactured and the functioning of the company.The students were then divided into a batch of 10 students and were taken to different departments like Production, Quality control, Quality Assurance, Research. They interacted with the department in-charges to have a correct understanding about different departments and processes of Pharma industry. The students enjoyed the visit and were also enlightened about the significance of engineering knowledge in Pharma Industry.

EXTERNAL PREPARATIONS: Lotions, Emulsions, Hand Wash, Shampoo (Drug) and Face Wash (Drug).
After the industrial visit students enjoyed a pleasant stay in Chandigarh and visited places like Sukhna lake , Rock garden, Pinjore garden.
On 19th March students went for Shimla were the students visited Mall road, Hanuman temple. Next day on 20th March after visit of Kufri. Students get back to the Greater Noida GN Group of Institutes Pharmacy Department on 21st March. Students gained lot of knowledge about Pharmaceutical products manufacturing.
Overall this tour gives students a major exposure to real working environment along with practical perspective.
